Not all illegal aliens who illegally cross into the U.S. are family oriented. There are many Mexican deadbeat dads who, upon finding out that it is virtually legal to be illegal in the U.S., are drawn like a magnet to receive, what I call, "deadbeat dad" amnesty.

The unedited Email letter below is from a Martha Lopez who is originally from Mexico City, now living in Tijuana. Martha was virtually widowed by her husband who sought a "better life" in the U.S. - Hal Netkin

Email letter from Ms. Martha Lopez

Tijuana, Mexico.

Targeted and seduced by all those persuasive money-transfer T.V. ads, nurturing the fantasy of the American Dream, in 1994, my husband Raul, just as millions of Mexicans men do each year, decided to change us, his Mexican family, for an American family who'd guarantee him a green-card.

After all those years we had deeply loved each other, one day, without warning, he left home and never came back. We had a car, a house, money was not the issue; but Raul had reacted to a challenge, to the threat of making an illegal cross of the International Border to The USA. He had fell into temptation.

The years that followed were extremely hard for me raising our children, as I was pushed into becoming a single mother of children forced to become fatherless  orphans and in the middle of the most cruel of the silences, the perverse silence with which INS responded to the numerous letters I began to mail. During the Bill Clinton administration all of them were ignored. In the best of the cases, all I got was a written acknowledgment from INS that they had indeed got one of my letters; But, the true of the matter was that they were, and still are, very busy rewarding cruelty by granting amnesties, working permits, green-cards and US citizenship to any man who dumps his Mexican wife for an American marriage certificate before their eyes.

The memories of those years only bring tears to my eyes. However, I consider myself extremely lucky, as many Mexican men who migrate to the USA beat their wives to get them out of their way. One of my sisters-in-law, was forced to give birth on her own once her husband decided to illegally migrate to the USA just a week before the baby was expected to be born. All by herself she took a dirty bus to the hospital, went through two major surgeries and, in the middle of all her pain, eventually went back home.

Situations like hers are the reason why the suicidal rate among Mexican women whose male partners enter illegally the USA has increased dramatically!

Nevertheless, Mexico is as busy as the US in destroying as many Mexican families as possible by having made out of INS' "Operation Gate-Keeper" a Human Rights issue, they ignore that the real victims whose deaths should be counted through wooden crosses displayed all along the Tijuana-San Diego metal fence, are not only those who have died while committing an their illegal act, but those of the millions of wives, children and, in many cases elder parents, who simply starve once you take away from them those young, healthy male hands who were their providers and their protection.

To grant a legal INS status to any Mexican who has enter illegally the USA, means to reward and to encourage cruelty. It is an act of barbarism, a Human Rights violation and it should be enough reason for the American citizens to start a civil war against their country who refuses to repatriate men who, by forcing their way into a legal INS waiting line, pose a threat to the security of the average legal citizen of such a great Nation.

For example, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the Mexican assassin, Juventino Gonzalez Pacheco has been granted by now by INS, a US Citizenship and is happily running Western-Union Dollar transfers companies T.V. ads. It shouldn't be; but life is far from being perfect and, the true of the matter is that most of this macho minded Mexican illegal immigrants would go back to their families if a country like The US decided to enforce its INS legislation sending back every single person who entered illegally the USA. For why do us Mexican women, have to be the victims of this disgusting lack of justice of the USA?

Please stop rewarding cruelty! How many more WTC terrorist acts of war are going to be needed for INS to start enforcing its Law?. Repatriate Raul and his brother because their sisters are starving to death!. Repatriate our men back home, and stop for once and for all those appealing money-transfers demonic T.V. ads who only destroy Mexican families by broadcasting the image of how easy and happy life becomes once all our men make it illegally to The USA.
